Nipa Butani

Ms. Nipa has been closely involved with learners with special educational and behavioral needs, their teachers and families for almost 30 years in UAE. Nipa has a Masters in Special & Inclusive Education and is A BCaBA. She is the founder - Director of Applied & Behavioral Training Institutes (ABTi), which provides Early Intervention services based on the Competent Learner Model (CLM -USA) to children in nursery, school & community settings. ABTi has a team of over 30 ABA instructors. Nipa & her team at ABTi have implemented and overseen numerous Applied Behavioral programs for students with developmental disabilities across UAE.

At ABTi, Nipa is involved in providing KHDA approved training courses for parents, educators, therapists and students. These training are geared towards teaching ABA principles & Special Education strategies for providing support & intervention for children with Developmental Disabilities.

Nipa is also the founder of the Autism Support Network, which is a FREE platform for parents and professionals who are touched by Autism. The aim of this network is to connect families amongst each other and to professionals, thereby creating a network of educational, social and emotional support for all. Due to the impact of her support initiatives & active awareness campaigns in the region; Nipa was invited as a panel speaker, representing the Middle East at the United Nations; on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, 2016.
Nipa is passionate about coaching & training parents and educators in the implementation of ABA-based intervention; & about promoting a compassionate & caring culture of service provision for children with developmental disabilities & their families.
